InTouchNow: Filming the Best Practice Show for the NHS's First VC-Backed AI Receptionist

Solution
Every GP practice in the country knows the 8am phone queue. Patients redial for half an hour, reception teams field the same routine requests over and over, and the people who most need a human conversation wait behind everyone else. Daniel Park built InTouchNow after five years running call centres that handled exactly these calls. Its AI agent now answers for more than 150 practices, books appointments, collects triage information and passes the calls that need a person to the reception team.
With the seed round closed, InTouchNow needed to turn its funding news into momentum with the people who buy. The Best Practice Show puts practice managers, GP partners and salaried GPs in one hall for two days, and InTouchNow arrived with a stand built around a red phone box and a new brand film on its screen. The brief was to capture that presence on camera and give the company content it could use well beyond the show.
Pre-production and brief
We wrote a full shoot brief covering a shot list, interview questions, timings and consent. The shot list asked for clean and busy wides of the stand from the same position, a walk-through from the hall entrance, a footfall timelapse, product demos, visitors picking up the phone box handset and the ad playing on the stand screen. We also set out how to keep competitor stands out of frame and kept anything patient-identifiable off camera.
Filming on the day
Our crew filmed the first day of the show. We caught the team demoing the platform to practice staff, visitors stepping into the phone box and people stopping to watch the film. Daniel Park spoke on camera about why InTouchNow was at the show and what the team wanted people to take away from the stand.
Edit and delivery
We edited a 60-second landscape roundup for the InTouchNow website and LinkedIn, with burned-in subtitles so it works with the sound off, plus two shorter vertical cuts for paid and organic social. The first cut went to the client three working days after the shoot.
The brand film on the stand
The film playing on the stand screen was our work too. We wrote, cast, shot and edited it ahead of the show. You can watch the InTouchNow ad with sound in our Vimeo showcase, and read how we made it in our InTouchNow brand film case study.
Seed round, LinkedIn and brand
We drafted the release and ran media relations for the £2.3m seed led by Ada Ventures, positioned as the first venture capital investment in an AI voice agent working in NHS primary care. We run InTouchNow's company LinkedIn and ghostwrite for Daniel personally, and we rebuilt the company's brand guidelines so every asset, from conference stands to social graphics, works from one source.

Results
- One day, a full content set: a 60-second roundup and two vertical social cuts, all from a single day at the NEC.
- A fast turnaround: the first cut was with the client three working days after the shoot.
- The founder and team on camera: Daniel Park and the InTouchNow team speaking for the company, alongside visitors on the stand.
- A funding story with a clear position: InTouchNow's seed launched as the first VC investment in an NHS primary care AI voice agent, covered in the health and tech trade press, including European Hospital & Healthcare Management and Clinical Institute.
- A consistent brand and voice: corrected brand guidelines underpinning all InTouchNow creative, and regular LinkedIn content for both the company and its founder.
Reflection
Conference roundups often end up as a montage of lanyards and carpet. We avoided that by deciding in advance what the film had to show: the phone box pulling people in, the brand film on the screen, the team in real conversations with practice staff and Daniel explaining why InTouchNow was there. Writing the brief before the doors opened meant one crew on one day came back with everything the edit needed. InTouchNow now has a film that proves the company is out in the market and talking to the people who buy, which is the story it needs to tell on the way to its Series A.
