Sanctuary Health: An Event Film from SomX Healthtech Talks with Sir Jeremy Hunt

Solution
Sanctuary Health builds applied AI for hospitals, insurers and government. Its engineers work inside clinical and operational teams, find the admin problems slowing the frontline down, and build AI agents to remove them. Its work includes AI telephony for GP practices and AI clinical literature search for a healthcare publisher, alongside its work with Barts Health.
Sanctuary takes an embedded, practical approach, and that is hard to get across in a press release. What the company needed was a credible public moment: Jack in conversation with people the NHS listens to, on the question every trust board is asking. It also wanted a lasting asset from that moment, something its team could use with buyers and partners long after the event was over.
A SomX Healthtech Talks evening
We framed the event as a SomX Healthtech Talks edition, "Will the NHS waste the AI moment?", and held it at Hale House, the Home of Healthtech, on Portland Place, with support from the Harley Street Health District. We prioritised NHS email holders and practising doctors when approving registrations, which gave Jack a room of exactly the people Sanctuary builds for.
Building the panel with Sir Jeremy Hunt
We worked with Sanctuary to secure Rt Hon Sir Jeremy Hunt, former Health Secretary and former Chancellor, and brought in Tara Donnelly, former Chief Digital Officer at NHS England. James Somauroo wrote the brief and briefed Sir Jeremy before the event. The aim was to steer him towards stories from government about what had and hadn't worked before, and to use those as evidence for what AI can realistically do in the NHS now. James chaired the panel, which combined political, operational and frontline perspectives.
Filming and photography on the night
We filmed the full panel and the arrival and networking, and had a photographer covering the evening. Attendees received the official photography within days.
Edit and delivery
We cut two films from the footage. Sanctuary's film gives Jack more time on screen, frames his points next to Sir Jeremy's and Tara's, and makes clear the evening was a SomX Healthtech Talks event. We delivered it in 4K and in Sanctuary's new brand identity, ready for its website, LinkedIn and sales conversations. A separate, shorter SomX cut covers the panel more evenly for our own channels.

Results
- A room the NHS takes seriously: more than 300 registrations and around 250 people at Hale House on the night, mostly NHS staff and clinicians.
- An engaged audience before the doors opened: 101 questions submitted at registration, which shaped the panel.
- Sanctuary on stage with a former Health Secretary: Jack Needham alongside Sir Jeremy Hunt and Tara Donnelly, chaired by SomX.
- A lasting event film: a 4K, Sanctuary-branded cut built around Jack's contribution, which Sanctuary owns and can use indefinitely.
- One evening, several assets: the client film, a SomX cut and event photography, all from a single night.
Reflection
Healthtech Talks gives us something most agencies can't offer: a room of NHS leaders and a panel worth turning up for. For Sanctuary, the risk was that a strong evening would leave nothing behind once the room emptied. We made sure it didn't, by designing the panel around a question Sanctuary has a real answer to, putting Jack next to two of the most credible voices on NHS technology, and filming the night with Sanctuary's edit in mind from the start. Sanctuary now has a polished record of that conversation to put in front of the people it builds for.
